Prior to this role, Matt McClelland spent over 26 years at Concord Hospitality Enterprises, where responsibilities included Executive Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President Operations and Development, Vice President of Capital Assets, Corporate Director of Operations and Facilities, and Director of Operations and Facilities for the Marriott Hotel in West Des Moines, IA, where Matt McClelland successfully opened the hotel. Earlier in Matt McClelland's career, experience at Marriott International encompassed roles such as Area General Manager, managing one property while supporting 60 others in the Midwest, and participating in opening teams for new hotels, along with serving as Operations Manager for Courtyard and Assistant Manager for Fairfield Inn.
