André-John Mas has a diverse work experience in software development roles. André-John worked as a Lead Software Developer at Turbodega, a distribution-related software startup, where they focused on backend development in NodeJS and frontend work in Vue. André-John was also responsible for CI configuration and production environment installation and deployments.

Prior to that, André-John was a Web Director at Otakuthon, starting in 2015. André-John then moved on to become a Lead Software Developer at FanMetrix, a sports-related software startup, where they led a team of around 5 people. André-John'sresponsibilities included backend development in NodeJS, frontend work in Vue, and also CI configuration and production environment installation and deployments.

In 2018, André-John joined Morgan Stanley as a Software Developer, where they worked on integrating the Alfresco CMS within the organization. André-John also explored other technologies for cloud-based CMS. Technologies used during their time at Morgan Stanley included git, Java, Javascript, Tomcat, Linux, and Python.

In 2017, André-John worked as a Lead Software Developer at Apparia, a health-related startup. André-John led a team of about 4 people and was responsible for developing an architecture based on customer needs, setting up the development and deployment environments. The technologies used in this role included NodeJS, React, Vue, Linux, and Postgres.

Before joining Apparia, André-John worked as a Software Developer for various startups, starting in 2015. André-John had a previous experience at Morgan Stanley as a Software Developer, starting in 2010, where they focused on Java development for the Alfresco CMS solution.

André-John's earliest work experience was at TELUS, where they worked as a Software Developer from 2007 to 2010. André-John was involved in the development, maintenance, support, and administration of a production and order management system for a bakery chain. André-John also worked on the development of the Aeroplan website.

André-John's first job was at Aptilon in 2007, where they worked as a Software Developer. André-John was involved in the development and maintenance of a web-based marketing solution for doctors.

André-John's career began in 2005 at Simpler Networks, where they worked as a Java and C/C++ Software Developer. André-John developed a web-based system in Java and an embedded system in C/C++. André-John also developed various tools in Java, including syslogd and tfpd.

André-John Mas received a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended The British School of Brussels from 1990 to 1992 and Bethany School from 1984 to 1990. In 2014, André-John Mas attended the International Space University for a Space Studies Program.
