Solveig Helene Olsen is an experienced leader in public administration and education, currently serving as Fylkeskommunedirektør at Østfold fylkeskommune since June 2015. Previously, Olsen held positions such as Fylkesdirektør and Prosjektleder at Viken fylkeskommune from October 2018 to December 2023, and Rektor at Kirkeparken vgs from 2011 to 2015. Additional roles include Fagleder and Lektor at Kirkeparken videregående skole within Østfold fylkeskommune, as well as Project Manager positions at Norsk Form and Momentum. Olsen holds a Master of Arts in European Cultural Policy and Administration from the University of Warwick and a Cand.mag in Humaniora from the University of Oslo. Currently, Olsen is pursuing an Executive Master of Management at BI Norwegian Business School.
