Dr. Rahul Deshpande has a diverse range of work experience in the dental and healthcare industry. Dr Rahul currently serves as the Team Head of the Digital Dental Lab at Osstem, a role they have held since May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Team Head of Training at Osstem starting in May 2019. From November 2018 to May 2019, they served as a Training Manager at the same company.

Before joining Osstem, Dr. Deshpande was employed by Allergan as a Clinical Training Manager. In this role, they conducted training and facilitation for dermatologists, dental surgeons, and cosmetologists on Botox and Juvederm range of HA fillers. Dr Rahul also provided primary survey insights to the marketing and sales team and understood cross-functional requirements for revenue generation. Dr Rahul worked at Allergan from December 2017 to November 2018.

Prior to their role at Allergan, Dr. Deshpande worked as the Business Development & Business Operations Manager at Lifespan Diabetic & Cardio Metabolic Clinics from November 2016 to December 2017. Dr Rahul gained experience as a Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dental Surgeon at a Private Dental Clinic from April 2010 to April 2015. Before that, they served as the Head Dental Surgeon at Lions Medical Center from August 2009 to February 2010.

Dr. Deshpande began their career as an Associate Dental Surgeon in private practice, specializing in esthetics, oral surgery, prosthetics, periodontics, pedodontics, endodontics, and oral medicine and radiology. Dr Rahul worked in this role from October 2006 to July 2009.

Dr Rahul Deshpande holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry, which they obtained from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences from 2001 to 2006. Dr Rahul furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, Strategic Management and Operations from International Management Institute - IMI between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Marketing Management from Welingkar Institute of Management from 2014 to 2015. Their early education includes completing their HSC from CHM College of Science, Arts and Commerce, Mumbai Board from 1999 to 2001 and SSC from Our Lady of Fatima, Mumbai Board from 1989 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Dr Rahul Deshpande obtained certifications in Digital Biomaterials from edX, Six Sigma Green Belt from KPMG India, and Global Tobacco Control from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
