Mark Valentine is the CX Lead and Scrum Master at Osso VR. Mark has previous experience working in customer support and management, as well as in the field of game art and development.
Valentine began their career working in customer support for Sysgain Inc. In this role, they were responsible for managing SharePoint pages and lists, as well as training videos for site features and UI refreshes. Mark also acted as liaison to the company's engineering team, providing feedback on platform updates. In addition to their customer support duties, Valentine was also responsible for Live Event Support, coordinating real-time customer technical support during streamed live events.
Valentine left Sysgain Inc. in 2017 to pursue a degree in Game Art and Development at Southern New Hampshire University. Mark studied 3D asset creation for video games and graduated with their degree in 2018. Mark then began working at Osso VR, where they are currently the CX Lead and Scrum Master.
They are on a team with Ryan Murdoch - Senior Unity Developer, Conrad Spotts - CX Lead, Scrum Master, and Chris Garcia - Software Engineer. Eric Dunn - Customer Experience Specialist, Tyler Woods - Customer Experience Specialist, and Joseph Baldenweck - Customer Experience Specialist report to Mark Valentine. Mark Valentine reports to Matt Newport, Co-Founder & CTO.
