Hongfei Li, PhD, CFA has over 15 years of work experience. From 2023 to present, they have been the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Osso Capital. From 2017 to 2023, they were the Head of Analytics at Point72. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head of Data Science at IBM Analytics, The Weather Company, where they worked on the business integration of The Weather Company acquisition and led a data science team to create business solutions and services to deliver client values. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Research Manager at IBM T.J. Watson Research. From 2007 to 2014, they were the Technical Lead and Research Scientist at IBM T.J. Watson Research, leading teams with expertise in machine learning, data mining and software engineering, and focusing on analytical model and solution development for Smart Commerce Initiatives. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Internship at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (Australia).

Hongfei Li earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics from The Ohio State University between 2002 and 2007.
