Karen Spina has a strong work experience in software engineering. Karen started their career in 1987 as a Software Engineer at Bellcore, where they worked until 1990. In 1991, they joined Osmose, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer. Karen also worked as a Math Tutor at MPH from 2010 to 2012.

Karen Spina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math, which they obtained from Rutgers University between 1985 and 1989. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Rochester from 1990 to 1992.
