Anthony G. Matt, P.E. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Anthony G. started their career at Siemens, working as a Sales Engineer for Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation. Anthony G. was responsible for developing sales plans for Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) and Distributed Controls Systems (DCS) and designing I&C systems for Combined-Cycle Power Plants (CCPP).

After working at Siemens, Anthony joined GE, where they held multiple positions over the course of several years. Anthony G. started as a Commercial Operations Leader in the US Northeast region, supporting the Contractual Services (CS) sales team. Anthony G. managed contract negotiations, revisions, and price concessions, and played a vital role in supporting the sales team.

Anthony then became a Sales Manager for Contractual Services in the US Southeast region, where they grew the sales region and personally closed multimillion-dollar deals. Following this role, they transitioned to become a Product Manager for Base and E Class Technologies at GE. Anthony G. developed and executed product development strategies aimed at profitable growth and revenue increase. Anthony G. also launched new products that contributed to a 2%+ growth and positioned the business for long-term revenue growth.

Later on, Anthony became a Product Manager for F Platform Lifecycle Manager, where they addressed product field issues and directed a multimillion-dollar product development portfolio. Anthony G. successfully turned around distressed technologies and generated significant revenue and margin during their tenure.

Anthony's next role at GE was as a Product Line Leader for Multiyear Agreements (MYA), where they focused on growing revenue, margin, and product footprint. Anthony G. increased the scope, activity, and retention of the MYA portfolio, resulting in 13% growth year over year. Anthony G. also achieved impressive sales orders, sales, and margin figures.

Subsequently, Anthony became involved in various leadership roles within GE Power. Anthony G. served as the General Manager for Commercialization and Sales Operations, where they built and led a team responsible for the full range of Upgrade products. Anthony G. also worked with regional teams on material and sales planning.

Anthony then became the General Manager for Base, E, and Aero Gas Turbine Technology Sales, driving revenue growth within a mature market segment. Anthony G. directed five global sales leaders and partners and achieved significant sales growth.

Lastly, Anthony held the position of General Manager for Combined Cycle Power Plant Upgrade Sales, where they supervised ten global sales leaders and revitalized sales operations and processes. Anthony G. achieved excellent results in terms of margin and orders/commitment goals.

In addition to their roles at GE, Anthony also served in the United States Navy Reserve as a Commanding Officer for an Intelligence production unit. Anthony G. was responsible for the professional development, training, and deployment readiness of over 90 Navy Information Force Reserve personnel. Currently, Anthony is working as the Vice President of Business Development at Osmose.

Anthony G. Matt, P.E. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from The Citadel. Anthony G. also has a Master of Science (MS) in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. In addition, they hold a Master of International Business (MIB) degree from the same institution. Mr. Matt has completed the Diploma programs in Command and Staff and Joint & Combined Warfighting through the U.S. Naval War College and the National Defense University, respectively. Anthony G. has also obtained a Manager Development Course (MDC) certificate from the GE Crotonville leadership and training center. Furthermore, Mr. Matt is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE #028432) in the State of Georgia, obtained through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
