Theodore Zilist has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Theodore began their career as a Research Assistant with the US Army Corps of Engineers, followed by a role as a QA Laboratory Technician at H2O Plus in 2012. In 2013, they moved to INEOS as a Research Technician. From 2016 to 2017, Theodore worked as a Software Engineer at CarLabs, followed by a role as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Style Spaces by Hutch from 2017 to 2019. Theodore is currently employed as a Lead Engineer at goop.com and began working as a Software Engineer at Osmos in 2021.

Theodore Zilist obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago in 2012 after studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they obtained an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certification from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
