Sophie Hoang's work experience begins in 2014 as a Barista at Philz Coffee, where they worked until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Professional Makeup Artist at MAC Cosmetics. In 2018, they joined San Jose Behavioral Health as a Mental Health Technician and worked there until 2020. During this time, they also worked at MAKEUP FOREVER LTD as a Selling Specialist from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Mental Health Technician at Sutter Health. In 2021, they interned as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at STARLIGHT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES, INC. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Liberty Healthcare Corporation as a Mental Health Worker. In 2022, they worked as a Freelance Makeup Artist at Orveon Global and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. Currently, they are employed as a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician at the County of Santa Clara.

Sophie Hoang earned their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Psychology from Foothill College, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Sophie then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, they completed their Master's degree in Counseling & Forensic Psychology at Holy Names University, where they attended from 2019 to 2022.
