Helen Eftekhari has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Helen started their career as a Hot Yoga Crew member at One Hot Spot Yoga Studio in 2014. In 2015, they interned as a UX Design Intern at Volvo IT. Helen then worked as a Product Development Intern at Volvo Bus Corporation, where they gained experience in designing and calibrating engine components. Helen also interned as a Manufacturing Optimization Intern at Volvo Car Group in 2017. Helen later joined Axis Communications AB as a Product Development Engineer, working on patented products. In 2016, they served as a Project Coordinator for the Volunteering Team at Engineers Without Borders. Helen also worked at Thule Group as a Sales & Reparations employee. Helen joined Accenture in 2018 as an Analyst, leading volunteering initiatives and managing change projects in the retail industry. Helen then became a Technology Consultant & Volunteering Lead - Senior Analyst, managing change requests for a major IT implementation. Helen'smost recent role was as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Above.se, where they provided user-centric design solutions and led technical projects. Helen is currently employed at Ortivus AB as a Team Lead Hardware Engineering and also works as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Leader.
Helen Eftekhari completed a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2013 to 2017. Helen also obtained a Level A2 certification in German from BSI private Sprachenschule in 2015. Earlier, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Chalmers University of Technology from 2012 to 2013. Helen completed their high school education at Samskolan from 2008 to 2011 and middle school at Talbot Heat School in 2008.
