James Mazzara is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon currently serving as a partner at Orthopedic Associates of Hartford since July 2017. Previously, James founded the Connecticut Center for Orthopedic Surgery, LLC, working from 2007 to June 2017, and practiced at Manchester Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine from 1991 to 2007. James has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 1991. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from New York Medical College (1980-1984), a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from New York University (1976-1980), and extensive orthopedic training at St Luke's / Roosevelt Hospital Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases - Orthopedic Institute.
