Brecht Malfait is an accomplished professional in the field of energy engineering with extensive experience in portfolio optimization, project development, and business development. Currently serving as Head of Portfolio Optimisation & Projects and previously as Lead Project Developer at Ø°ù²õ³Ù±ð»å since November 2018, Brecht has demonstrated expertise in managing innovative projects. Prior experience at Haldor Topsoe A/S included roles as Senior Business Development Manager and Product Development Manager, focusing on on-site CO generation by electrolysis and technology supervision. Brecht's earlier positions at Topsoe Fuel Cell A/S involved project management and engineering roles related to solid oxide electrolysis and fuel cell technology. Brecht holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from KU Leuven.
