Ben Orson has extensive work experience in the design industry. Ben is currently the owner of Orson Associates, a position they have held since August 2020. In addition to running their own company, they are also an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London, specializing in MA Design for Industry 5.0. Prior to these roles, Ben worked as the Fly Zero Cabin Lead at the Aerospace Technology Institute from February 2021 to April 2022. Ben also served as the Managing Director at JPA Design from September 2013 to August 2020 and as the Director of Industrial Design at Safran from October 2010 to August 2013. Before working at Safran, Ben was the Design Director at JPA Design from August 2002 to September 2010. Ben began their career as a Designer at Therefore Product Design Consultants in 2000.

Ben Orson completed their BSc. (Hons) in Industrial Design at Loughborough University from 1992 to 1995. Ben later pursued an MA in Industrial Design at the University of the Arts London from 1997 to 1999.
