Srdjan Kovacevic has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Srdjan is currently the CEO of Orqa FPV, a leading company in FPV video headsets and Remote Reality technology. In 2021, they also became the Chairman of the Group for Microelectronics and Semiconductors of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, they were an Investor and Co-Founder at Aabo and served as an Expert Evaluator for Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. From 2017 to 2019, they co-founded and worked at Tenzor Hardware Innovation Lab, focusing on developing cutting-edge FPV technology for drones and other applications. Prior to that, they held roles at WYG Group, Capital Fund, and PBZ Invest. Srdjan started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in 2005.
Srdjan Kovacevic completed their MSc in Mathematical Finance at the University of Oxford from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering (dipl.ing.) from Sveučilište u Zagrebu, Fakultet Strojarstva i Brodogradnje, spanning from 1997 to 2004. In addition to their educational qualifications, Srdjan has obtained several certifications, including Certified Pension Insurance Company Manager and Certified Pension Fund Manager, both from the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency. Srdjan also completed the Investment Advisor Examination in December 2006, also administered by the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency.
