Ian Monroe serves as President and Chief Investment Officer at Etho Capital, a fintech company focused on sustainable investing to combat climate change. With extensive experience in climate solutions, Monroe co-authored a bestselling textbook on climate strategies and serves as an advisor and founding member for various organizations promoting environmental, social, and governance investments. Monroe co-founded the tech platform Oroeco, is an active organizer for the Energy Discuss SF network, and has held teaching positions at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
