Gerry Mulcahy is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading and risk analysis. Currently serving as a Derivatives Trader at Ornua since July 2023, Gerry previously held the role of Senior Risk Analyst for Circle K's Ireland Fuel Trading team from May 2021 to July 2023. Prior to that, Gerry spent nearly a decade at Geneva Trading, beginning as a Financial Trader and advancing to Senior Trader, where specialized trading expertise for the European session was provided while managing an individual portfolio. Initial roles included Fund Specialist at J.P. Morgan and Dividend and Payment Processor at Citi. Gerry holds a Master of Science in Computational Finance and a Bachelor of Business Studies in Economics and Finance, both from the University of Limerick. Key achievements include the execution of successful team strategies, the development of automated trading systems, and the establishment of strong inter-company relationships.
