Benedict Ancock, MD MPH FACC has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Since 2016, they have been working as a Cardiologist at MarinHealth Medical Center, where they currently serve as the Chair of Cardiology. Benedict is also the Medical Director of Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation at Ornish Lifestyle Medicine since 2017. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Cardiologist at CARDIOVASCULAR ASSOCIATES OF MARIN & SAN FRANCISCO. Benedict completed their Cardiology Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they were a Preventative Medicine Resident at Kaiser Permanente & UCSF from 2011 to 2013 and an Internal Medicine Resident at Kaiser Permanente from 2009 to 2013. Benedict gained experience as a Senior Medical Resident at Royal Brompton Hospital from 2008 to 2009 and Chelsea & Westminster NHS trust from 2006 to 2008. Benedict started their medical career as a Medical House Officer at Hammersmith Hospital NHS trust in 2005. Additionally, they worked as a Researcher at Cancer Research UK in 2003.

Dr. Benedict Ancock earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicine from Imperial College London in 2005. Benedict then completed their Master of Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. Additionally, they attended Bloxham School from 1994 to 1999 for their A levels. Dr. Ancock also holds several board certifications, including cardiology, cardiac CT, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, preventative medicine, and internal medicine. These certifications were obtained between 2013 and 2016 from various institutions.
