Marjorie Lluveres is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Orleans Public Defenders and as an LSPP Fellow at Gideon's Promise since August 2020. Marjorie has extensive experience in criminal defense, having worked as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic at American University Washington College of Law, as a Summer Legal Intern at The Bronx Defenders, and as a Legal Intern at the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project. Prior roles include Law Clerk at the Office of the Public Defender Maryland and Judicial Intern for The Honorable Judge William Altfield. Marjorie's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law, a Certificate in Pre-Law Skills and Professional Values from Florida International University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government and Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
