Laureen Martinez, APR, serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the Orlando Economic Partnership, having joined the organization in November 2014 after previously holding the role of Senior Director. In this capacity, Laureen manages public relations and promotes the region as a prime business destination, overseeing a team and contributing to various communication efforts including media relations, content creation, and social media management. Prior to this role, Laureen gained experience as Assistant Manager in the Communications Division at Orange County Government and as Chief Public Relations Officer for the American Red Cross Mid-Florida Region. Earlier career roles included positions as a Television Reporter/Anchor at WTVR - CBS 6 and Television Journalist at WAFF - TV 48. Laureen holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Florida, obtained in 1997.
