Ted Suh

Vice President, Chemistry at Orionis Biosciences

Ted Suh has a range of work experience in various pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Ted started their career as a Research Investigator at GlaxoWellcome in 1993. In 1997, they joined Eisai US as a Senior Scientist, where they focused on lead identification in oncology and immunology projects. Ted then progressed to become an Associate Director, overseeing medicinal chemistry program management with an oncology focus. In 2001, they became the Director of Lead Identification, responsible for lead prioritization and early SAR studies. During their time at Eisai US, they also served as the Director of Integrated Discovery Technologies, leading a multidisciplinary group focused on lead discovery.

In 2010, Ted took on the role of Senior Director, Deputy President, Lead Discovery at Eisai US, where they managed global chemistry for lead discovery in multiple therapeutic areas. Ted also managed discovery activities at the Andover site, overseeing high-throughput screening, compound library, and lead discovery chemistry. In 2013, Ted transitioned to the role of Senior Director, Strategic Planning and Operations, Biomarkers and Personalized Medicine at Eisai US. In this position, they proposed strategies for utilizing biomarker discovery technologies and led operational aspects of diagnostics programs.

In 2015, Ted joined Biovica International AB as the Senior Director of US Business Development. In this role, they established relationships with clinicians, expanded customer relationships with pharmaceutical companies, and coordinated product development strategy with colleagues in Stockholm.

Finally, in 2017, Ted began working as the Vice President of Chemistry at Orionis Biosciences.

Ted Suh completed their BA in Chemistry from Yale University between 1982 and 1986. Ted then pursued further education and attained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University, where they studied between 1987 and 1993.
