Samant Maharaj has over 17 years of work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Samant currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Orion Health since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Engineer at Rhapsody from November 2018 to July 2019. Samant also had a previous tenure at Orion Health as a Principal Engineer from February 2017 to November 2018. Before that, they worked as a Principal Architect (Contract) at Odin Health from June 2015 to January 2017. Prior to this, they held the role of Technical Lead at Propellerhead from May 2013 to June 2015. Samant joined Orion Health as a Design Engineer in June 2010 and served in that role until May 2013. Samant Maharaj attended The University of Auckland from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Science and Information Systems.
