Alvaro Duarte has extensive work experience in the field of software development and information technology. Alvaro is currently employed at Orion Health as a Software Developer. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Technology Intern at TIC Company & ATTIC Research Institute, where they were responsible for researching and designing a digital transformation for company training products. Alvaro also reviewed system integration with Salesforce and created project presentations and documentation.

Before that, Alvaro worked at IBM Colombia as an Application Developer, where they analyzed business processes and designed prototypes for the Bank's Leasing Division. Alvaro also implemented integration technologies to centralize and connect core systems using WebSphere and iSeries.

Additionally, Alvaro worked at Informatica Servicios y Soluciones de Colombia S.A - Subsidiaria IBM as a Customized Solutions Technician. In this role, they ensured the quality of all deliveries made to the test division and monitored the development process using technical tools such as Rational Team Concert and ClearQuest.

Furthermore, Alvaro completed an internship at IBM Colombia, where they provided support to the software factory in Configuration Management and maintained development environments. Alvaro developed software RCAs for customer applications and followed the company methodology for LCSD and ITIL.

Lastly, Alvaro worked at ALPA Construcciones Ltda as a System Technician.

Alvaro Duarte completed their Master's degree in Information Technologies at The University of Auckland from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering and Informatics from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, Alvaro has obtained several certifications, including Learning Ansible, Learning Docker, Learning TypeScript, Getting Started with CSS for React Developers, Learning npm the Node Package Manager, Node.js Essential Training, React: Server-Side Rendering, Software Architecture: Patterns for Developers, and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner. Alvaro also completed the course "Mejora tu habilidad de escucha activa" from LinkedIn in December 2019 and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming from edX in September 2012.
