Farzeen Faiz is a Power System Engineer at Orion NZ Ltd since January 2023, with extensive experience in electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Canterbury since April 2019, Farzeen has contributed to various electrical engineering projects and courses. Previous roles include Power System Research Fellow, where time and frequency domain analysis on 11kV distribution networks was performed, and Systems Test Engineer at Enphase Energy. Farzeen also has experience as a Laboratory Specialist at the American University of the Middle East and has held research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Canterbury. Early career experiences include roles as a Trainee Electrical Engineer, Placement Coordinator, and multiple internships in power plant operations. Farzeen holds a PhD in Electrical Power Systems, a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury and Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, respectively.
