Jamie Edwards is an accomplished executive who brings more than two decades of global infrastructure investment and development expertise to his role as Managing Director, Finance & Accounting, Origis Energy. He is responsible for all corporate finance, accounting, project finance, and M&A functions.
His experience in all phases of investment due diligence and asset development resulted in the successful development, financing, design, construction, and commissioning of over USD $20 Billion of capital projects across the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
Mr. Edwards’ career spans a wide range of traditional and renewable energy asset types including solar, wind, hydro, and thermal generation as well as transmission and distribution, telecommunications, transportation, and water projects and investments for C&I clients, investor-owned, municipal, and state-owned utilities.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Edwards spent two years at an Africa-focused private equity infrastructure investment firm and 22 years at Black & Veatch, where he served in executive leadership roles in corporate finance and energy business.
Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and completed post Bachelor Accounting studies at Arizona State University – W. P. Carey School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
