Anthony Teal, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of renewable energy and data science, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Energy Data Science at Origis Energy since September 2021. In this role, Anthony performs analyses on photovoltaic (PV) and storage projects to optimize configurations and evaluate various energy technologies including green hydrogen and wind. Previously, Anthony held positions as Director of Energy Analytics, Senior Renewable Energy Consultant at Wood, and Program Manager at First Solar, where responsibilities included project modeling, performance analysis, and the development of analytics platforms for utility-scale projects. Academic credentials include a PhD in Photovoltaic Engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Lasers and Optoelectronics from Swinburne University of Technology.
