Derek Welle has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, currently serving as an Operations Excellence Partner at Original ChopShop since June 2021. Prior roles include Managing Partner, District Manager, General Manager, and Kitchen Manager at Torchy's Tacos from September 2012 to March 2019. Additional experience includes General Manager positions at Alonti Corporate Catering and Five Guys Burgers & Fries, as well as Owner/General Manager at H2W Management Corp. Derek Welle is furthering culinary education at Houston Community College and the University of Houston, with a focus on Culinary Arts.
