Bill Maass has a diverse work experience in graphic design, marketing, and web development. Bill has worked as an Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Design at Origin Investments since 2022, where they previously held the position of Senior Graphic Designer from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Maass Design since 2011. Bill also has experience as a Graphic Designer, Front-end Developer, and Copywriter at Humble Hues from 2012 to 2016, where they worked on various creative projects for non-profit organizations. Bill has also worked as a Graphic Designer at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 2013 to 2016, where they managed brand standards and developed print and digital collateral. Additionally, they served as a Web Development Instructor at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2014, teaching a summer class on online portfolio development. Other roles include working as a Graphic Designer at amüsegrafik in 2012, and as a Marketing Intern at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Marketing & Design Consultant at YES.OUI.SI. Gallery in 2011.
Bill Maass attended General Assembly in 2019 to study JavaScript Development, but did not receive a degree. Prior to that, they attended Tufts University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts. During their time at Tufts University, they also studied at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, earning a second BFA degree in Drawing and Interactive Installation.
