Efren Montalla has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as an Operations Technician at Beach Energy Ltd since January 2018 and at Origin Energy since January 2011. Prior to these roles, Montalla worked as a Sr. Electrical Designer for Transfield Worley, Petrokon, and Technip from 2000 to 2009. Montalla began a career in design as a CAD Designer at Caltex (Philippines) Inc. from 1988 to 1998. Montalla holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of the East and has completed Industrial Electrician courses at the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki and Meralco Foundation Institute.
