Syed Hasan Afzal Rizvi B.E Mechanical PMP, PE, MIEAust is a seasoned Mechanical Reliability Engineer currently with Orica since September 2023. With extensive experience in the marine and defense sectors, Syed served as Senior Projects Engineer and Senior Engineer at Orient Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. from January 2017 to June 2023, focusing on defect analysis and maintenance of power generation assets. Prior roles included Deputy Manager/Lead Engineer at Pakistan Navy Dockyard, Chief Engineer at Pakistan Navy Ship Building Dockyard, and multiple engineering and instructional positions within the Pakistan Navy, encompassing machinery operation, technical analysis, and educational responsibilities. Syed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and a Higher Secondary Certificate in Computer Science from Hamdard Public School.
