Rodrigo Rodrigues Duarte is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mining and explosives sectors, currently serving as PPIS Manager Latam at Orica since June 2013. Rodrigo has held various managerial roles, including Manufacturing Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included process improvement related to safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Earlier positions at Orica involved technical support for explosive manufacturing and implementation of new products. Prior to joining Orica, Rodrigo worked at Avibras from April 2001 to June 2013, where roles spanned from Production Supervisor to Chemical Engineer, focusing on production processes and continuous improvement. Rodrigo holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia de Lorena and has further education from Faculdade de Engenharia de Guaratinguetá.
