Dylan Bruce began their career in 2012 as a General Team Member - Fabrication and Marketing for the RIT Formula SAE Racing Team. Dylan then became an Aerodynamics Engineer for the team. In 2013, they worked as a Materials Tester for Parker Hannifin. In 2014, they were an Engineering Intern for Parker Hannifin and a Facilities Engineering Co-op for Wyman Gordon. In 2016, they were a Test and Development Engineering Intern for Pratt & Miller Engineering. From 2017 to 2019, they worked for Pika Energy as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Systems Engineer, and then a Manufacturing Manager. Finally, in 2019, they became a Manufacturing Manager for Ori.

Dylan Bruce attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In August 2017, they obtained a certification in SQL for Beginner Data Analysis from Udemy.
