Avalon Monaco is an experienced education professional currently serving as the ENL Coordinator for the NYC Department of Education since September 2019 and has held the position of Executive Functioning Coach at Organizational Tutors, LLC since November 2021. Previously, Avalon contributed as an Education Specialist at DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI) from June 2013 to August 2016 and participated in the Teacher Leadership Program at the NYC Department of Education from September 2013 to June 2014. Avalon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Cornell University, as well as two Master of Arts degreesā€”one in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Mount Saint Vincent and another in Education through the NYC Teaching Fellows program.
