Peter Bungum has extensive experience in research and education within agricultural and biological sciences. Currently serving as Research and Education Manager and Senior Technical Coordinator at the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) since May 2014, Peter specializes in evaluating substances used in agriculture and ensuring compliance with organic standards. As an owner of Rask Metalworking, Peter combines design and fabrication expertise with a hands-on approach. Prior roles include welding and fabrication at Co-Motion Cycles and team leadership at Green Gear Cycling Inc., alongside academic positions as an adjunct biology instructor at multiple community colleges. Peter's early career at the U.S. Forest Service involved biological research on tree species and diseases. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Oregon.
