Nikolaj Sorensen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries. Currently serving as CEO and President of Orexo AB publ since October 2011, along with roles as a Board Member for Gesynta Pharma AB and Moberg Pharma AB, both since May 2021, and for Bioservo Technologies until December 2023. Sorensen previously held key positions at Pfizer Inc. as European and Canada Marketing Director for Lyrica, managing a substantial marketing team, and at Pfizer AB as Chairman of the Board and Managing Director. Additional experience includes working as a Project Leader and Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 1997 to 2004. Sorensen holds multiple advanced degrees in Economics, International Business, and International Law from prestigious institutions such as the Stockholm School of Economics, Copenhagen Business School, and the University of Glasgow.
