Alex Sandel has worked in various positions throughout their career. Alex started as a Technology Manager at Q.T. Wiles & Associates in 1977. Later, they became the CEO of CAL-ABCO Distribution from 1980-1999, where they grew the company into a leader in the industry. In 1985, they founded Packard Bell and became its Chairman of the Board. Alex worked there until 1999. From 1994-2005, they were the CEO of Future Media Productions. Alex worked as an Investor and Consultant at their own venture, Independent, from 2006-2014. In 2013, they became the Chairman of Tamnun Secured Networks, where they worked until 2017. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer of OREV Secured Networks, starting from January 2018.
Alex Sandel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 1964. Alex then pursued another Bachelor's Degree in the same field from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and earned it in 1969. In 1972, Alex Sandel went to the University of Southern California for their Master's Degree in Operations Research, which they completed in 1974.
