Aileen T. currently serves as a Student Researcher at Oregon State University, contributing to an NSF-funded project on software engineering competencies. Additionally, Aileen's role as a Digital Humanities Researcher at UCLA involves data science and lab management within the AI and Cultural Heritage Lab. Aileen provides educational support through the Ignite Fellowship with Teach For America, tutoring various grade levels in underserved schools. Aileen operates a private teaching practice focused on STEM subjects and has held positions as a Learning Engineer at MatchMaker Education Labs and a tutor at Study Smart Tutors. Previous experiences include internships at Amazon and the U.S. Department of Justice, along with a fellowship with Coding It Forward, emphasizing public interest technology.
