Nya Buckner is a dedicated professional in student-athlete development and leadership with extensive experience at Oregon State University. Currently serving as a Student-Athlete Professional Development Intern at Oregon State Athletics, responsibilities include organizing life skills seminars and identifying development opportunities for student-athletes. As Chief of Staff for the Associated Students of Oregon State University, Nya manages budgets and coordinates programs. Previous roles include leading the BEST Summer Bridge Program for freshmen student-athletes and representing Oregon State in the Pac-12 Black Student-Athlete Association. Nya has a strong academic background, holding a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oregon State University.
