Sue Duncan

Sue Duncan is a seasoned Senior Research Scientist at the Oregon Research Institute, with extensive experience in leading and contributing to diverse, large-scale grant-funded social science research projects since 1992. Key responsibilities include project design, staff supervision, budget management, data collection methods, and sophisticated data analysis, along with publishing and presenting findings. Duncan's research contributions have encompassed a long-term examination of various influences, particularly in the realm of substance use in families. Additionally, Sue Duncan serves as the Head Tennis Coach at Thurston High School, overseeing the varsity teams, and has coached youth soccer teams from 2008 to 2016. Education includes a PhD in Physical Education/Sport & Exercise Psychology from the University of Oregon, an MS in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BA in Sport & Recreation Studies from the University of Staffordshire.
