Tim Migaki is an experienced educator and leader, currently serving as a Submarine Supervisor and Educator at OMSI since July 2023. In addition to this role, Tim has been a Licensed Substitute Teacher with the Beaverton School District and ESS since October 2022 and May 2019, respectively. Tim's extensive teaching background includes positions as a Tutor for Upward Bound and AVID at Tigard-Tualatin School District from January 2016 to July 2022, and a Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at Wilbur Rowe Middle School during the 2021-2022 academic year. Tim's experience also encompasses several teaching roles within the North Clackamas Schools and international teaching as an Assistant Language Teacher with the JET Programme from 2010 to 2015. Tim Migaki holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from Willamette University, alongside an Associate of Arts degree from Hawaii Tokai International College. Additionally, Tim serves as an Auxiliarist and Flotilla Vice Commander in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary since August 2007.
