Claire Rowbottom is a Reporting Forensic Scientist at Orchid Cellmark, a position held since September 2011, where a diverse caseload includes serious crimes such as murder and armed robbery, often under tight deadlines. Prior to this role, Claire worked as a Reporting Forensic Scientist at the Forensic Science Service from January 2007 to August 2011, focusing on biology-related cases involving blood, saliva, and cellular material. Earlier in the career at the same organization, Claire served as a Forensic Casework Examiner, performing and documenting forensic examinations according to standard operating procedures. Claire holds an MA in Forensic Science from the University of Strathclyde and an MA (Cantab) in Natural Sciences (Physiology) from the University of Cambridge.
