Elissa S. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2009, Elissa worked as an Editorial Intern at MovieMaker Magazine and then went on to be an Editorial Intern at Death+Taxes. In 2010, Elissa served as a Reader at Floren Shieh Productions and was also a Development Intern at Andrew Lauren Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment. In 2011, Elissa joined CBS Corporation as an Assistant and later became a Research Analyst and then a Program Information Coordinator.

In 2015, Elissa briefly participated in the Critics Academy at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. From 2015 to 2019, Elissa worked as a Freelance Writer before joining Policygenius Inc. in 2019. At Policygenius, Elissa started as a Staff Writer and contributed to the company's growth in the Fintech sector. Elissa then transitioned to the role of Editor and later became a Senior Editor.

In 2022, Elissa joined Orchard as a Content Managing Editor. This current role showcases Elissa's expertise in managing content and is the latest addition to their diverse and accomplished work experience.

Elissa S. began their education at the University of Southern California in 2007, where they focused on Cinema-Television and Italian. Elissa attended this institution until 2009. Following this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Film Studies at Barnard College from 2009 to 2011.
