Nita Parmar has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. In their most recent role as Head of People and Culture at ORCHA, they are responsible for managing human resources and driving cultural development within the company. Prior to this, they worked as an HRBP Change & Transformation professional at Sovereign Pension Services (UK) Limited, where they played a key role in driving and managing organizational change and transformation processes. Other notable positions include Interim Senior HRBP at Tensar International Corporation, Lead HRBP (Interim) at James Fisher and Sons plc, and Assistant HR Director (Interim) at The ACC Liverpool Group. Additionally, Nita has held various HR roles at organizations such as Places for People, LF Europe & LF Americas, Serco, and JTL. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, leadership development, talent management, and employee relations.
Nita Parmar has a diverse education history. Nita obtained a BA (Hons) in Human Resources Management from the University of Central Lancashire, graduating in 2004. Nita then pursued further education in the field of employment law, earning an Advanced Certificate in Employment Law from JSB between 2010 and 2012. Nita also completed an MA in Strategic Human Resources from Liverpool John Moores University, which they attended from 2009 to 2011.
Before their university studies, Nita attended Preston College, where they achieved a GNVQ in Health and Social Care from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their GCSE's at Ribbleton Hall High School from 1992 to 1997.
In terms of additional certifications, Nita obtained the Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in September 2020. Nita also holds the Advanced Certificate in Organisation Design and Development - Merit from CIPD, awarded in June 2020. Additionally, Nita became a Fellow of CIPD in September 2000.
