Maor Izenberg has a strong background in software engineering and tech leadership. In their most recent role as a Senior Backend Engineer at Orca AI, they designed and developed asynchronous micro-services using Python, Sanic, Async.io, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Redis. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Backend Engineer at DoControl, where they worked from July 2022 to February 2023. Maor also held the position of Senior Backend Engineer and Tech Lead at Octopus.Health from April 2021 to April 2022, where they developed an AI-based healthcare product on Azure cloud micro-services and utilized technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Express, Nest, and REST.

Before joining Octopus.Health, Maor worked at TSG IT Advanced Systems Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Leader for two years, where they worked on Java, Play/Akka frameworks, Angular web applications, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Java streams, and RxJS. Prior to that, they were a Software Developer at Karamba Security, where they developed modules using Bash, Python, C/C++, AWS EC2, MongoDB, and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, AWS EC2, and Heroku for an automotive security product.

Earlier in their career, Maor held the position of C++ Software Engineer at TraceSpan Communications, where they developed LTE-A and xDSL network analysis products using C/C++ 11, Linux, Windows, and encryption modules like AES. Maor also worked as a C#.NET Software Engineer at Ness Technologies, where they developed server-side modules utilizing C#, Oracle DB, and .NET framework.

Maor's educational background includes studying communication systems engineering at Ben Gurion University, where they completed their studies from 2007 to 2011. Maor also worked as a Quality Software Engineer at Ness Technologies from 2006 to 2007.

Maor Izenberg pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2001 to 2003, they attended Amal B College, where they completed a practical engineering program. Maor then moved on to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with honors in Communication Systems Engineering.
