Luca Pignata is currently a Scientist II at Orbit Discovery, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at iHealthtech, National University of Singapore, focusing on epigenetic modifiers in cancer vaccine immunotherapy. Luca's research experience includes a PhD candidacy at A*STAR, where significant discoveries in drug therapies for leukemia and other cancer types were made, alongside characterizing drug interactions and novel inhibitors. Additional roles include research fellowships and assistant positions emphasizing epigenetic modifiers in various cancer contexts, and the development of adenovirus-associated virus production techniques. Luca holds a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Biological Sciences from Università di Pisa.
