Vanessa Carle is a Senior Associate at Forbion, a prominent venture capital firm specializing in life sciences, with experience in leading R&D projects, managing investor negotiations, and overseeing teams. Previously, Vanessa held roles as an Associate at PharmaVentures, where consultancy work focused on pharma partnering and strategy, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL, leading a project on anticoagulation therapy. Vanessa is currently serving as a Board Member for Orbis Medicines and a Board Observer for VectorY, sitala bio, and Mariana Oncology. Vanessa holds a PhD in Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery from EPFL, a Master's degree from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Università di Pavia.
