Christopher Cook is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering, data analysis, and education. Currently serving as Lead AI Software Engineer and AI Director at Orbis Inc since August 2020, Christopher previously held positions such as Programmer Analyst at Lincoln Land Community College, where automation and data analysis were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Data Analyst/Programmer for the State of Illinois, providing expertise in database structures and machine learning, as well as a Teaching Assistant for computer science and mathematics at various academic levels. Christopher's diverse background also includes a role as a Financial Aid Assistant for Veterans at the University of Illinois Springfield and service as a Sonar Technician in the US Navy, managing sonar system operations on a nuclear submarine. Christopher holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in European and World History, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Sciences, all from the University of Illinois Springfield.
