Marc Schmid is a seasoned data scientist currently employed as a Senior Data Scientist at Orbem since March 2024. Previously, Marc served as a Research Associate at Technische Universität München from July 2020 to March 2024 and held a position as a PhD Software Engineering intern at Woven by Toyota, where the focus was on autonomous driving technologies. Additional experience includes roles as an AI Engineer at Motius and various positions at Technische Universität München, including a Tutor for Trajectory Planning and a working student. Marc began involvement in robotics as a Junior Angel at Roboy, where responsibilities included sensor data fusion and deep learning. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science in Sports and multiple master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, all from the Technical University of Munich, alongside an exchange term at the University of Technology Sydney.
