Kurt Dudley has held various roles in the technology industry since 2010. Kurt began their career as a Sales Marketing Internship at Aloft Group Inc, a full-service marketing and branding firm. In 2011, they became a 3D Designer, Fabricator and Digital Artist, where they reverse engineered various SLA 3D printing systems and developed new prototypes. In 2013, they joined OM (Orange Maker) as COO CTO, Chief Operating Officer and head of R&D, Principle Investigator for SBIR Phase1, and Co Founder. During their time at OM, they employed Lean business practices and cost effective R&D to allow for innovation, and developed patent strategies to strengthen the IP portfolio. Kurt also received a Ben Franklin Partners Grant of $50,000 and investigated 3D printing metals, Bio-applications, and ideal light sources. In 2016, they were awarded a patent grant for the discovery of utilizing rotation in the first truly continuous 3d printing process.
Kurt Dudley attended Moorpark College from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Business Administration, Management and Operations. Kurt also obtained a Private Pilots License from CIA Channel Islands Aviation in 2005-2006. From 2008 to 2011, they attended San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Art with an emphasis in Digital Fabrication and a Minor in Marketing. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation without matriculating, studying Design and Applied Arts.
