Derek Kuhlman has worked in the technology industry since 2011. Derek began their career at Macy's as a Developer II, where they coded in COBOL and worked with JCL, generational datasets, MQs, VSAM files, and other technologies. In 2016, they moved to CloudCME, where they served as a Project Manager and Lead Developer. In their role as Project Manager, they utilized project management tools such as JIRA and Monday.com to manage numerous new client implementations, created and maintained project timelines and documentation, managed client communications, collaborated with the development team to resolve bugs and implement integrations, and worked closely with the Quality Control team to ensure the product was ready to be handed over to the client. In 2022, they joined Orange Logic as a Senior Project Manager.

Derek Kuhlman attended Bowling Green State University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Derek also attended Bowling Green State University-Firelands from 2007 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
